115 Years of History For Your Enjoyment

Street view of a three-story brick building with storefronts on the ground floor, including a bridal shop with wedding dresses in the window; neighbors are on either side and an American flag is on the sidewalk.

The Gatewood building was originally built in 1908 and operated by the town pharmacist J. R. “Rush” Gatewood as his drugstore for decades. To honor this legacy, we decided to name the venue after its original owner.

In the last few years our building has undergone wonderful renovations to return it to its former beauty.

The Gatewood has the privilege to have done hundreds of events in these last few years and we’d love to host you for yours.

From small groups of 10-20 to large groups of over 200, the space is adaptable for your needs with multiple floors and unique spaces for your enjoyment.
